We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive team in Wickford, working on a range of cars and vans from Monday to Friday. With a salary of up to £41,000, consistent working hours and a quarterly bonus scheme worth up to £1,000 per person, this is a great opportunity for an experienced automotive professional.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Vehicle Technician in Wickford, you’ll carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics across a range of cars and vans, helping to keep vehicles safe, reliable and ready for the road.

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements

• Carry out MOT preparation and associated repairs where required

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard

• Support the wider workshop team with day-to-day technical requirements

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced automotive professional with strong practical skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, Light Vehicle Technician, Van Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician

• Experience working on cars and vans

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Ability to identify faults and complete repairs effectively

• A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach

• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
